Trigger your show from anywhere in the room
SchwiftyEx is a wireless button-to-message controller. Pair one or more RF remotes, map each button to a MIDI or OSC message, and fire cues on your lighting, audio or video software live — no laptop, no cables, no app to install.
What it does
- Wireless triggers — pair RF remotes and send a MIDI or OSC message at the press of a button, from across the stage or the booth.
- Four buttons on board — B1–B4, each with an RGB LED ring, mappable just like a remote.
- Speaks OSC & MIDI — send OSC over Wi-Fi to consoles and QLab, or plug in over USB and it appears as a SchwiftyEx USB-MIDI controller in your DAW.
- Browser control, no software — connect to the device’s access point or your Wi-Fi and set it all up in a web browser. Nothing to download.
- Presets & bulk import — save messages as presets and import whole sets by CSV.
- At-a-glance status — the LED ring shows connection state and flashes on every message sent (green for MIDI, orange for OSC).
- Field-ready — Access Point or join-your-network modes, passwordless recovery, and updatable firmware.
Built to pair with the free generators
Not sure of the exact command? Build it on our free OSC & MIDI generators for grandMA3, MagicQ, ETC Eos, QLab, Hog 4, ColorSource, X32/M32 and Allen & Heath — then copy it straight in, or import a whole set as CSV. New consoles are added on the web, so the device stays lean.
Perfect for
- Firing lighting cues over OSC without touching the console
- Triggering QLab from the stage
- Hands-free DAW control over USB-MIDI
- Any show that needs a reliable wireless “go” button
