Behringer Wing · OSC Generator

Build OSC for the Behringer Wing — copy the string into Companion, QLab, TouchOSC or any OSC sender. Faders are in dB.

Input channel
0.0 dB
0

Address /ch/N/fdr|mute|pan (N is single digit, not padded). On Wing /mute, 1 = muted, 0 = unmuted — the opposite of X32's /mix/on. Fader is a dB float.

Output / master
0.0 dB

Aux /aux/N/…, buses /bus/N/…, matrices /mtx/N/…, mains /main/N/…, DCAs /dca/N/fdr & /dca/N/mute. Faders are dB; mute 1 = muted.

Mute group

Address /mgrp/N/mute, integer 1 = mute group active (muting), 0 = open. Wing has 8 mute groups.

Raw / custom message

Full manual control for any node in the Wing OSC map (e.g. /ch/1/pan, /ch/1/$solo, /ch/1/name, /bus/1/fdr). Wing also accepts a dB fader value sent as a string.

Heads up — browsers can't send OSC directly. OSC travels over UDP, which web pages can't open. This tool builds the exact message; paste it into a real OSC sender (Bitfocus Companion, QLab, TouchOSC, Open Stage Control — or our own SchwiftyEx) aimed at the Wing's IP on port 2223 (UDP). Wing faders are in dB (float), and mute 1 = muted.

Manual & examples

New to OSC? Copy any ready-made example straight into your OSC app. Wing fader values are in dB (a float); −144 is −∞ (fully off).

STEP 1

Same network as the Wing

Put your sender on the same network as the console and note its IP. The OSC service listens on UDP 2223.

STEP 2

Build a message above

Pick a tab (Channel, Output…), set the fields, and the panel on the right shows the finished message live.

STEP 3

Send it to port 2223

Paste into Companion, QLab, TouchOSC or any OSC app, aimed at the Wing's IP on UDP 2223.

Numbers are examples — channel 1. All strip numbers are single digits (not zero-padded). Faders are dB floats (0.0 = 0 dB, -144 = −∞). On Wing, mute 1 = muted, 0 = unmuted.
